Last week I saw this confirmed in something so simple as not right aligning all numeric columns within grids and not giving the values in it all the same number of digits. Such a rookie mistake in UI design should never linger in any software for more then a day and the developer should notice and fix it them-self or risk getting verbally murdered by a co-worker.
Today, I stand corrected...
EVE is still very much not even in BETA stage after 10 years!
This game has no bright future with such a studio in control!

I think we should just start from scratch. Every last one of us. Like back in the good old days when we played sp games - you didn't like how it was turning out, but you had a much better handle on the mechanics so you gave up the few hours you'd played already to begin again in a more efficient manner.
Consider this: Most (if not all) the bittervets would quit, not wanting to reinvest the years, and those of us who are (relatively new) would actually have a fighting chance.
Yes, I have in fact been drinking since downtime. hehe... |
